Lord Lescribaa kept on well to deny Legends Lass at Newton Abbot, despite Richard Johnson dropping his whip. Bobby Bullock has been placed in his last three starts but was well beaten on each occasion and more is needed here. It would be no surprise Rash Moment run a big race but fellow veteran Marked Man is starting to look as though he's now ready for retirement and both Apache Brave and Thirtytwo Red will be carrying more than their allotted weight. CHANDLERS CROSS was only beaten a length-and-a-quarter over C&D in July and was then second to Amazing Valour at Southwell. He looks the one to beat though Miss Midnight would be thereabouts on her best form.
