In depth

Verdict

Lough Rynn continues to flatter to deceive and so we will side with recent winner Fisherman Jack ahead of Foly Pleasant. A recent winner at Sedgefield over an extended trip, the 13-year-old evidently gets on well with jockey Jodie Mogford. He goes on any ground but certainly wouldn't mind any further rain and he is respected, although it must be added that he is yet to carry more than 11 stone 3 pounds to victory. Lets Go Dutch is a course and distance winner but like many in this field he isn't getting better with age and his recent run was poor although he may have come on for it. Avione has bits of form that give him a chance, whilst Outside Investor comes here in fairer form than most. Foly Pleasant could be a more viable danger as his recent run over hurdles wasn't bad and he should appreciate this drop in trip today. A terrible race really, but Fisherman Jack can win again.
