Verdict

It's hard to look beyond MARODIMA in the opener, as Jamie Snowden's charge has leading form claims, has won at the track and will benefit from the assistance and claim of David Bass. With an official rating of 134, the gelding has 9lbs and upwards in hand of these and can lead home Roznic. Tim Vaughan has his runners going well and this likeable gelding is at his best over this trip, although there'd have to be a worry over his form at this particular track. Fellow veteran Heir To Be also has claims but would want rain to arrive, Deep Reflection is one-from-one over course and distance and Red Lancer could improve for cheek-pieces, but Marodima should be hard to peg back.
