In depth

Verdict

Lovato is a course and distance winner but having a first run since November and still looks a shade high in the weights. Beach Break may be suited by sharper tracks and The Vollan carries a penalty for scoring at Southwell, though the second won two days later at Newton Abbot. Chapmanshype only won by a neck at Ffos Las in May but that was his handicap debut and a 3lb rise is not harsh. CANDY BURG won twice over fences in the autumn but is also useful over hurdles and goes well fresh - he could be some value under top weight in this.
