Archimedes and Middlescence were both due to run yesterday at Brighton but would have claims if turning up. STORM MELODY had excuses when a well-beaten favourite here last week and is take to recoup losses with a clear run and reverse that form with Look Surprised. Mooroverthebridge got going too late over 6f at Salisbury in May so a drop in trip may not be a plus but Jaganor could be a factor under Poppy Bridgwater as he’s a four-times course winner who wasn’t disgraced last time at Chepstow.
