In depth

Verdict

Sudden Flight has shown improved form for the opportunity to race on fibresand and is the TEAMtalk pick to complete a hat-trick over course and distance. Roger Ingram's front running gelding was an impressive five-length winner earlier in the month and promptly followed up on a return visit 11 days later. The son of In The Wings appeared to have plenty left in reserve and will prove hard to peg back despite a further 8lb rise. Dunkirk Spirit has been soundly beaten on all starts since completing a hat-trick of wins here during the spring and is still 7lb higher than his last winning mark so can't be backed with confidence. Kristensen has been knocking on the door in useful company on turf of late but has no experience of racing on this surface while Romil returns from a lengthy break and may need the outing on this occasion.
