    Verdict

An interesting maiden, despite the small field. Swashbuckle was sent off favourite on his racecourse debut on the Turf course at Lingfield and only found one too good. Stetchworth Park comes here off the back of a decent run in a handicap at York and was placed on Polytrack in April. The step up in trip will suit Regal Gait and Zanjabeel should be winning soon based on his second behind a nice sort at Redcar. The promising ALYSSA missed the break on her reappearance at Kempton and was always playing catch-up thereafter. She wasn't unduly punished and can repay that kindness here.
