Verdict

The four-year-old Poetic Queen has now finished second three times, though hasn’t been beaten far in her last two including her latest over this course and distance when she finished ahead of HARLEQUIN STORM and Trotter. Dean Ivory’s gelding has the greater scope for improvement, however, and can reverse that form today. Prazeres was placed twice for William Haggas last summer on Turf but makes his all-weather debut after a break for a new yard and recent Lingfield third Jashma is just as interesting stepping up a furlong. David O’Meara’s newcomer Eddiebet is also worth a market check.
