This looks wide open, though Cultured Knight has been off the track since last June and it’s hard to fancy Cruise Tothelimit from out of the handicap. Emjayem, Red Stripes and Powerful Dream are also passed over while Archie Stevens struggles to get his head in front, though he finished ahead of Temple Road, Normal Equilibrium and Miracle Garden here last Thursday. Ebony N Ivory is tried in headgear after finishing close-up over 6f here last week but has struggled for speed over this shorter trip before. BAHANGO probably saw much daylight on Newcastle’s straight course last time. He was second in this race last year carrying 3lb more and can go one better today.
