Resplendent Alpha has been running well without winning and did so again when third at Pontefract on Monday but Stamp Duty has been in woeful form since scoring over C&D in February. Karate pops up in this grade every now and again but it's anybody's guess when that's going to be while Cairanne went close here last time though she's now had 17 starts without a win. GOLDSTORM will need to improve on her reappearance effort when second over track and trip last month but it's not inconceivable as she's having only her fifth start and Brian Baugh's filly gets the nod.
