In depth

Verdict

Aldedash won with a bit to spare when sent off favourite at this track on his reappearance and steps up a grade off a 6lb higher mark today. Another bold bid is still expected but PATRIOTIC could prove too good. The latter can be excused a below par effort in slow ground at Yarmouth last time as he'd won three of his four previous starts at this course and Chris Dwyer's charge is fancied to get his head back in front here. Angelic Upstart could also get involved having made a promising comeback when second over track and trip but it's hard to make a serious case for the remainder.
