In depth

Verdict

A very open finale and Baylaw Star gets a narrow vote ahead of Rathmullan and Vizulize. Kevin Ryan's four-year-old bounced back to form in emphatic style last time, beating Sir Bond by a very easy six lengths. He has to shoulder 11 stone 12 pounds this afternoon, but has to have strong claims in this mood. Rathmullan also comes here in winning form having beaten Zinging in a tight finish at Brighton last time. He doesn't have the best of the draw but should be capable of fighting for some place money. Course and distance winner Vizulize still looks on a handy mark and is the type to go well for an inexperienced rider. Best of the rest could be the consistent Donegal Shore, but Baylaw Star is hard to ignore following that last run and looks to have as good a chance as any.
