Many of these arrive in top form for this excellent prize. Gabrial The Duke scored over the course and distance a year ago and over two miles at Lingfield three weeks ago for which a 2lb rise is manageable. Richard Fahey also runs Angel Gabrial, runner-up in a Newmarket Listed contest in September but with no real form on the all-weather. Two Jabs has won a bumper and scored over hurdles so the trip is no problem despite his recent victories coming over shorter. SILVER QUAY has been raised 9lb for a very easy victory over 1m4f at Lingfield last week but can race with a penalty here. With Tom Marquand's claim to aid his cause he can take the step-up in trip in his stride and complete a quick double. Gang Warfare has completed a hat-trick on three different surfaces since August including here. He's stepping up in class from a 7lb higher mark but looks the type to go on improving. Useful hurdler Totalize won a York handicap over the trip in the summer of 2014 but is 11lb higher and hasn't had much racing subsequently.
