COLD AS ICE stands out in this opening contest and will most likely start a short-price. A tardy start over 6f here last time left her with plenty of ground to make up but she fairly flew home for third. William Haggas' mare beat the smart Realize over today's trip at Chelmsford before that and looks to have stronger form than Volunteer Point. The latter's earlier defeat of My Call was a good effort but collateral form still leaves her something to find with the selection though Mick Channon's filly should have the measure of Alfajer. Saucy Minx is a decent handicapper around here but like Primrose Valley and the remainder, she has plenty to find with the main contenders on these terms.
