The progressive Gracious John endured a torrid time when odds-on at Chelmsford last time and will be looking to amend. Hanging right for most of the way, he was found to be lame after the race so finishing only a length behind today's rival Kadrizzi looks a fine effort in hindsight. But the latter has since been beaten at level weights by WOLOWITZ at Wolverhampton and on that form, David Barron's unexposed sprinter looks to have every chance with further improvement likely. Both Field of Vision and Krystallite have already fallen victim to the selection while Quatrieme Ami has beaten Sign of The Kodiac the last twice now and the tough and consistent Aguerooo beat Illegally Blonde over track and trip last time.
