Verdict

Baharah is marginally preferred to Fajr and Capricorn Run. The selection caught one of two bookies on the hop last time but there was no fluke about her victory at Lingfield and if connections have plans of listed races and Dubai engagements on their mind, she would need to win this in order to justify those lofty ambititons. Fajr is a good yard stick but he is arguably better when able to secure cover in his races. Small fields invariably work against his interest. Capricorn Run has been one of the success stories of winter racing. Capricorn Run often starts slowly but finishes with purpose and is again tried over the mile. He won a muddling affair at Lingfield and can give a solid account of himself here. Murfreesboro is below this level while Regional Counsel makes a British debut having left Kevin Prendergast. Neveronamonday looks hopelessly outclassed. The race of the day and Baharah is the percentage pick.
