Nimello gets the call over Prince Vettori, with Colemanstown best of the rest. This claimer should be well within the compass of Nimello, who has beaten far better animals down the years. Obviously at the age of nine he is not getting any better, but he was successful over the course and distance in March and has only had two outings since. He is a hard horse to catch right these days but at least will be fresher than most and is the pick. Prince Vettori posted an improved effort when a close second in similar company here last time and rates the main threat, while Colemanstown should be noted in the market. The rest have been disappointing of late and in a race that should not take a great deal of winning, Nimello can prevail.
