      Verdict

      Lean On Pete is not out of this only 2lb higher than when scoring here in November. He drops back down in class after a couple of outings in better company. Eastern Dragon has won over shorter trips at this track and can figure if lasting home, but SECULAR SOCIETY makes the most appeal in this. He returned a losing favourite over a mile at Lingfield last month but the half-brother to a 1m2f winner has plenty of scope on his handicap debut and Brian Meehan's charge can get off the mark today. Absent Amy won three times last year but looks to be treading water off her current mark and Arlecchino has failed to figure since winning his maiden at Ponterfact last summer.
