SWISS LAKE SWEETIE is taken to come out on top in a contest where there is little form to work on, with Crystal Feather and Gracie's Games the principal opponents. A son of Monsieur Bond out of a Cadeaux Genereux mare, Crystal Feather is bred to be speedy, and the booking of Jamie Spencer is interesting for this debutant from a respected yard. After being well beaten on two outings on Turf, Gracie's Games seemingly showed improved form last time when third on the all-weather surface here. That was an improved performance, and further improvement will see her in the shake up here. Having shown distinct promise at Catterick on her debut, Swiss Lake Sweetie was a market drifter before disappointing at Sandown next time. She has been given a rest since that effort, but a reproduction of her Catterick run may well prove good enough for Swiss Lake Sweetie here.
