Electric Warrior, Willkandoo and Mister New York are trio to focus on here, with MISTER NEW YORK taken to defy a rise in the ratings for a recent success. Electric Warrior has won two of his last three starts, but they have come in claimers, and this looks tougher. His confidence will have been restored after a winless run but this may be beyond him. A four time handicap winner this year, Willkandoo is respected, but his third in a claimer last time suggests he has gone off the boil and he is taken on. Mister New York has recently found winning form after a dry spell. He slipped down the weights, but despite racing off a five pound higher mark than his win at Lingfield last time, he has won over the couse and distance, and Mister New York is in good form once more and can win his third race in four starts.
