In depth

Verdict

Bridey's Lettuce has been showing a bit more lately but over much longer distances. Cape Crystal has been rested since a poor run at Lingfield in June having looked progressive earlier. King Oswald won over a shorter trip here 10 days ago but SPINNING PEARL may have his measure. She was only beaten a length in a better race at Leicester last month and, though making her debut here, has already won on Polytrack. Cacica is tried in blinkers and could figure if they have the desired effect but Roman De Brut was raised 5lb for finishing second last time in a seller.
