In depth

Verdict

Tom Dascombe has his horses in good form and course and distance winner Dana's Present ran his best race for some time at Windsor last month. Illusive Force has been going well on Tapeta but Star Of The Stage has won twice on Polytrack at Lingfield and ran well in a better race than this there last time. Mcdelta finished a close second here in February but is 6lb higher after scoring at Carlisle. PIKE CORNER CROSS gained the only victory of his career here in May and has been competing well in better handicaps on Turf. He has a bit to find with Star Of The Stage on earlier running but appears to have improved so gets the vote.
