      Verdict

      Most of these can be given a chance but MONTAGUE (NAP) is taken to reverse recent running with Rock On Baileys. The latter bids for a five-timer today but David O’Meara’s colt re-opposes on much more favourable terms with an apprentices’ allowance further helping his cause and can also confirm running with third-placed Rastacap. Mighty Mac makes his handicap bow after winning a novices’ race at Lingfield while Shortbackandsides and Enzo's Lad are other handicap debutants worth noting. Kodiac Express is preferred to Our Man In Havana of the remaining pair.
