    Verdict

All of these step up in trip but WALEYDD has the strongest form by some margin. Narrowly beaten over a mile on his debut, he found one too good again over 1m2f at Newcastle last time and Roger Varian’s colt looks the one to beat in this. Marcela De Vega is a half-sister to a decent stayer and Pyramid Place is another likely to last home as both step up from a mile while the latter’s former stablemate and early Derby entry Baltic Wolve has plenty of stamina in his pedigree. Manap looks best of the rest.
