Verdict

Butterfield won over 1m6f here recently but was beaten over today’s longer trip before that when ahead of Yasir. The latter had earlier found Uncle Bernie too good at Lingfield but Never A Word scored over a shorter trip at Southwell a week ago and Brinkleys Katie was placed in a seller over track and trip last month. Irish raider Doune Castle went close at Kempton when last in this country but an open contest can go to CALL ME MADAM, who was beaten less than a length on this surface at Newcastle and looks set to open her account off her current mark.
