    Verdict

TADWEEN is getting steadily closer and found only one too good at Newmarket three weeks ago. Dane O’Neill’s presence suggests he’s preferred to the newcomer Yaarmen and he gets the nod. Pastime steps up from 6f after finishing four lengths behind the winner at Yarmouth recently while Luminous will likely improve on last year’s poor debut effort. Striking For Gold ran better at this venue on his debut than he did last time and is preferred to Shamonix.
