Verdict

Lugano will no doubt be winning again later in the season but returns to action raised 9lb for October’s win at Newcastle, his only start of 2016. Boychick was runner-up over 1m3f at Kempton and can race off the same mark but Pour L'Amour was well beaten at Newbury last time having scored over track and trip before that. VICTOR’S BET has looked a rejuvenated character this year and won at Lingfield in April before scoring again at Kempton in an apprentices’ handicap. A winner without a penalty, he can go in again here.
