      In depth

      Verdict

Plush is always hard to beat here but FULL TOSS takes a massive drop in grade and should score for an in-form yard. Our selection ran behind Penitent in the Lincoln last time having previously come up against smart performer Tranquil Tiger in the Winter Derby. Those contests are both a world away from this and he's got recent winning form to back up his rating of 93, one that gives him almost a stone in hand of Plush. Tom Dascombe's charge has a fantastic record here and was only narrowly denied in a similar race last time but off level weights he's up against it taking on Full Toss, a fellow course and distance winner. Atacama Sunrise is a consistent handicapper and receives weight from all her rivals she was a shade below par on her sole start here and is taken on with that in mind. Country Road represents a shrewd yard and needs a market check now dropped in grade but he would be 24lbs better off with our pick if this were a handicap, whilst there should be little between Granny McPhee and Fifty Cents but neither are expected to get close to winning. This isn't a bad claimer but Full Toss stands out as a class above this opposition and should take the world of beating.
