BENVENUTO, a full-brother to the brilliant Henrythenavigator, showed nothing of his sibling's ability in his first season but this is a modest event and he can begin living up to his pedigree. After a promising debut here in October, Lingapour still appeared to find this trip on the short side when fancied on a return visit a month later and may do better over further. Top Spin is the form pick having finished about 10 lengths behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh though a subsequent last place in a Listed contest doesn't read so well. The selection's stablemate Ferdinand Magellan will be better suited to a stiffer test of stamina in time.
