Sovereign Spirit can stop Zaville from completing a hat-trick, with Your Amount and Peas 'n Beans also worth a mention. Zaville lines up in more form than most, having won her last two starts, but a closer inspection of the form reveals that she has it to do with a couple of today's rivals here, notably Sovereign Spirit. The latter was conceding well over a stone to Zaville when they met here at the end of October, going down by less than four-lengths, but now re-opposes off practically level weights, so must surely turn the tables. In addition, Peas 'n Beans is also better off for a similar defeat here last time, although is not as well treated as Walter Swinburn's charge. Your Amount is a course-and-distance winner as is Captivate, but at the weights we just have to go for Sovereign Spirit despite the anchor of topweight.
