It was only a weak maiden handicap at Southwell that Tomintoul Star won two outings ago and he looks best left out of calculations in this event which is taken to go to the lightly raced BLUE MOON. Kevin Ryan's filly showed only a modicum of ability in maidens prior to a decent handicap debut at Newcastle in July when a close up second to Red Dagger for which she has justifiably gone up 4lb and she can go one better today. Out Of Nothing has run creditably in his last two runs but has been raised by the handicapper since those outings so may be booked for a place at best, while Just Timmy Marcus is proving to be expensive to follow and could do with some help from the handicapper.
