In depth

Verdict

Sweet Medicen, Gibbs Camp and Mormota are three against the field in this maiden with the vote going to Sweet Medicen. The selection was a good second on his debut this season behind Lady Gregory. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and as he looks sure to improve for the run he looks the one to be on from a good draw. Gibbs Camp rates the main danger on his latest second behind Kingsgate Prince, he looks sure to improve fore the step up in trip and he should be closely watched in the market. Marmota hails from a yard in form and this well bred type is another that should be noted in the market especially as her breeding suggests she will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder River City is a fair chaser but appears to be running here in perpetration for Cheltenham and for the winner we return to Sweet Medicen.
