Topweight Our Herbie disappointed off today's mark at Newmarket last time and may now be best watched in a race where the vote goes to Our Blessing ahead of the lightly raced pair Bluebelle Dancer and Abbotts Ann. The selection landed something of a gamble when taking a auction maiden over six furlongs at Pontefract last time, giving every indication that today's extra furlong would suit and he is taken to defy the rise in the weights since then. Bluebelle Dancer showed improved form at Redcar last time and could be of interest first time in this grade along with the likes of Abbotts Ann and Call Me Rosy. Mark Johnston's Love Dubai is another handicap debutant that is hard to weigh up but has to be respected, while the Mark Tompkins-trained Astroangel has had plenty of chances in this grade and may need some help from the handicapper.
