Verdict

LEADING EDGE looks the value in this ordinary contest where Moon Crystal and Jaconet complete the shortlist. With all respect to the other three, they have a bit to prove and are over looked today. Jaconet has a long absence to overcome, so may be in need of the outing. Still, his yard's runners have been performing with credit of late, so a very careful monitoring of the betting is advised. Moon Crystal is an obvious player at this level and, as she arrives here seemingly at the top of her game; a big run is expected from Ed Dunlop's charge. However, Leading Edge has shown a compatible level of form of late and, as sprinting seems to suit her ideally, she is taken as the best bet (at the likely odds) to lead the fillies home today.
