    Verdict

Glebe Garden, who sets a fair standard, is the only one of the 18 runners to have seen a racecourse previously so the likelihood is that this will go to one of the newcomers with Model Figure getting a tentative vote over Here To Me. The selection, a Distant View half-sister to numerous winners, is trained by Barry Hills, whose string is back among the winners again and she is likely to be forward enough to play a hand in the finish. Richard Hannon has his two-year-old team in good form so Here To Me, a daughter of Muhtarram, is an obvious danger along with the James Fanshawe-trained Anthos. Brian Meehan's Jasmine Pearl and the Andrew Balding-trained Lola's Destiny are other debutantes worthy of closer inspection. Hamilton third Glebe Garden has to be respected but ground conditions will be different tonight so it might be worth taking a chance on Model Figure who is bred to appreciate fast ground.
