In depth

Verdict

Ordnance Row holds Dunelight and Banknote on their recent running here and should confirm placings despite a penalty, however Mount Hadley looked a horse with a bright future as juvenile and he can start to fulfil that promise here with a win. The selection has had his training problems but this former Ed Dunlop inmate certainly has ability. He didn't sign off with much of an effort when last seen at Doncaster in the colours of Godolphin, however he has changed hands since and could be one to keep on the right side of this season. Dunelight is a dangerous front-runner but he had the run of the race two starts back when narrowly pegged back, whilst Baha Shumaal won well recently but has plenty to find on official ratings now up in class. Ballinteni runs this track well but is another who has something to find, and so we will return to Mount Hadley as the tentative choice.
