Verdict

Scottish Exile and Cut And Dried can be given chances in the open handicap but we will side with Signor Panettiere. Richard Hannon's top-weight makes a quick re-appearance following an excellent fourth in a better race at Newmarket on Friday and the hint should be taken. His previous effort at Bath behind Tag Team also reads well so does seem to be back to his best. Scottish Exile returned to form last time when chasing home Petana in a decent event at Musselburgh. There were some experienced sprinters behind that day so the form does appear to be rock solid. Cut And Dried gave David Simcock his first victory as a trainer and following a few poor performances looks to be returning to form. However Signor Panettiere is expected to give weight and a beating to today's rivals.
