In depth

Verdict

Richard Hannon is responsible for two of the seven runners here. Divine Law has won his last three and is likely to start favourite but he has been climbing the weights and it would be no surprise if Dane O'Neill's mount Be Bold proved the pick of the pair. Alcatraz needs to improve again on his Chepstow win to defy top weight while Gossiping has disappointed since scoring over track and trip in April. LAIDBACK ROMEO has strong claims on his third at Ascot two runs ago and gets the nod, though northern raider Mystic And Artist may do better in first-time cheekpieces.
