      Verdict

Cliche, Siamese Cat and Regal Estate look the three to concentrate on here with the narrow vote going to Siamese Cat. Not out of the top three in all three starts last year, her best run came when runner-up in the Watership Down Stud Sales Stakes. He handles any cut in the ground that my still be around and can get her head in front at the fourth time of asking this afternoon. One negative would have to be the form of the stable so if any horse is to take advantage it could be Cliche who finished third in that sales race and should be suited by today's step up in trip. However her stable is also out of form and whilst she warrants respect, she can be taken on today. Regal Estate represents a stable in good form and with jockey Philip Robinson riding well, she could be a real fly in the ointment. Labor Day is entitled to come on for her debut when she ran green, whilst Cliche's stablemate Susanna's Dance is well-bred but may need the experience and possibly further in time. An intriguing contest to finish with, in which Siamese Cat gets the tentative vote.
