In depth

Verdict

A few of these have been taking on better opposition without setting the world alight. Pearl Blue only beat two rivals at Lingfield last month but Jubilee Brig has remained in good form since completing a double on Polytrack and Tapeta. Royal Warrior won at Brighton around this time last year and made a fair reappearance on the track but Doc Hay's star has looked on the wane and Prince Regal was well beaten at Kempton on his comeback. We'll take a chance on the three-year-old JUST MARION, who gets all the allowances. Her last run on Turf came in a valuable sales race at the Curragh in September and she was only beaten five lengths. A repeat of that would see her go very close at this level.
