Verdict

Breden would have to be very smart to defy top weight in this following a near two-year absence. Red Warrior is still a maiden but has been second three times here but the ground may be too quick for last month's Chester runner-up Energia Fox, who probably need further nowadays. Smartie Artie and BISHOP'S LEAP are both unexposed, improving types and can fight out the finish. Preference is for Andrew Balding's charge, who gets a handy weight-for-age allowance and appears to have conditions in his favour again.
