Verdict

SEQUILLO is narrowly preferred here to Wild Desert, Laudatory and Satwa Moon. Richard Hannon's course and distance winner should come on for his fair fifth here last time behind Some Sunny Day who has run well in defeat since. He handles quick ground, looks fairly handicapped on a mark of 80, and should appreciate the drop back in trip. Laudatory tries the cheek-pieces after just a modest run at Sandown, Wild Desert catches the eye as Alan King's runner returns from 465 days off the track, whilst the hurdler Blue Spartan handles quick ground well and is capable of running a big race off a mark of 78. Satwa Moon is unexposed and is considered on this turf debut with the yard on the crest of a wave however he was poor at Wolverhampton last time and needs to bounce back. Opera Prince is back from a mini-break, Kiss A Prince needs to improve for the longer trip, whilst Arashi may be happier here than at the more testing Carlisle track that he flopped at when last seen. Preference is for Sequillo.
