Verdict

Richard Hannon holds a strong hand in this finale as Wiley Post bolted up at Goodwood last month and Dheban made late headway in a better race at York. Silken Skies was second over track and trip on her reappearance while This Is For You and Moondyne Joe have their sights lowered, though both are returning from a lay-off. COLD SNAP is making his handicap debut but showed a fine turn of foot to win over 6f here on just his second start and should be suited by dropping back to 5f. He can improve past Adham, who looks to be treading water off his current mark.
