In depth

Verdict

Joseph O’Brien sends out his first runner as a licenced trainer and Justice Frederick could go close after finishing third to Pedestal over the minimum trip at Tipperary on his debut. But the latter is trained by O’Brien’s father Aidan and he runs the first foal of a Listed winner in LEO MINOR. It’s no surprise the newcomer has some fancy entries and he may well prove good enough here. Cosy Club finished a bit closer at Leopardstown last time and steps up in trip along with Dermot Weld’s All Crazy Now, who made only a modest start at Naas but is expected to do much better today.
