John Gosden's string has yet to hit top form but any strong support for his newcomer Informed Award could prove significant. Silverware wasn't disgraced in a couple of maidens at the end of last season and should appreciate the longer trip, but one who will definitely improve over today's distance is DISCOTECA. Andrew Balding's Nayef colt was placed in both starts over a mile last year and better is expected now his stamina comes into play. Both Elfine and Strewth look capable of picking up a similar contest before long with the latter preferred here on account of his promising debut at Lingfield.
