Verdict

A very informative contest to open the final day of Windsor's festival and Red Trance just edges the vote over Fortunately and Bentley's Ball of those with experience, whilst Avenlea is an interesting newcomer to monitor in the betting ring. Red Trance put in a much improved effort at Lingfield last month after making an encouraging start at Leicester in April. She did well to recover after meeting trouble in running inside the final furlong and will be a lot wiser to the task in hand this time around. Fortunately has done well in her outings so far and should be involved in the shake-up again if running to form. She did well on her first start for her new yard last time and is holding her form well to date. Bentley's Ball is another who should not be far away if repeating his debut effort at Goodwood today. He showed plenty of dash on that occasion and the drop back in trip should suit him for now. The Averti colt, Avenlea, is the most interesting of the two newcomers and is one to take notes on for next time. Where as Tutum has plenty of improvement to find.
