    Verdict

Ice Age, successful 12 months ago off a 6lb higher mark, has not been in the same form this time around, apart from a second at Ripon last month. He may be worth opposing tonight but Equitation is one for the short-list as he was just denied a course and distance double last month and the fourth won a competitive sprint at York on Saturday. Udontdodou also likes it here and is another to consider while Polybius will have benefited from his run at York. EMBOUR (NAP) has come on in leaps and bounds this year and will appreciate the step back up 6f, despite a fine run over 5f at Chelmsford last time. Show Stealer may be best of the rest.
