Verdict

Several of these are winners on the track including Round The Island, who has won four times here and is very well handicapped if anywhere near his best. His yard also run Penny Pot Lane, a penalised course and distance winner from last weekend who has won from higher marks in the past. He was a long way behind Tricky Dicky here last month, though that was on soft ground which didn't suit. The winner returned last week to score again so looks certain to get into contention again, despite a penalty, but he has little in hand over MUJASSAM on an earlier run at Catterick and David O'Meara's 11-times winner was only just touched off at Hamilton on Thursday so gets the vote in a tight handicap. Mr Orange is another regular winner here and is 5lb lower than his victory here last July while Scuzeme and Gullane One are very closely matched on their run at Thirsk where the latter just came out on top.
