Micky Hammond's pair Quoteline Direct and Correggio have won six times around here between them, the former successful in this last year under Becky Smith and probably the best of the pair this time. Serena Brotherton is on board the in-form Edgar Allan Poe but her mount is very much better with some give in the ground which he appears unlikely to get. Celtic Artisan won at Wolverhampton in May but ran well in a better handicap than this over the course and distance earlier so should go well under Emily Bullock. Regal Mirage hadn't been running well over longer trips before a much better effort behind track specialist Bit Of A Quirke at Beverley last week. He's on the same mark and, with his rider's claim to help, should make a bold bid. AGAR'S PLOUGH is 0-15 but stepped up to this trip for the first time at Beverley in April and produced his best run to date so it's a surprise to see him a pound lower. Mick Easterby will have him ready and Joanna Mason can steer him home.
