In depth

Verdict

THE KNOT IS TIED had decent form on the Flat and over hurdles a couple of years ago. He showed a glimpse of that former ability when leading until the last at Doncaster at the start of the month and a repeat of that effort here would suffice with Nick Phillips claiming 7lb. Kilbrew Boy won over fences when only a pound lower here in December and would not have enjoyed heavy going at Uttoxeter later. Getaway Cory may prove the pick of Kayley Woollacott’s pair with the experience Josh Newman doing the steering but Frankincense is still 5lb higher than when winning in a lower grade at Exeter in November.
